The next couple years were quiet as he finally settled down, a couple hundred miles from his birthplace in Texas. This seems pretty adequate. Your backstory seems fairly standard, a field doctor who later became a actual doctor. Plus what you're asking for outside the revolver seems like it'd be mainly passive based. No real issues from me with your guys character, so I think it's fine to be approved.
